SUMMARY
Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole has set itself the goal of boosting attractiveness, economic development and employment, enhancing the region's image, reducing inequalities and freeing energies and talents. For several months now, we have been working on a roadmap for economic development up to 2030, in light of the economic context, transitions and competition between regions.
As part of theAssises de l'Économie", which the metropolis organized on November 17, 2023, Laura CARMOUZE, Deputy Director of the Chaire Attractivité et Nouveau Marketing Territorial (A&NMT), took part as a"Keynote" on a sequence, entitled "What new paradigms for territorial attractiveness in the age of scarcity?". Her presentation focused on the four dimensions of attractiveness: balanced, cultural & customized, collective & transversal and, finally, political & managerial. Each of these dimensions is illustrated with examples andbest practices.
