This report on decarbonizing long-distance mobility proposes analyzing distances travelled in terms of passenger-km rather than number of trips. The report highlights the fact that 90% of long-distance travel relies on carbon-intensive modes of transport (car, plane), emitting 41 MtCO2 per year. It proposes scenarios & solutions to reduce this impact.
