Today, territories are in competition with each other in terms of residential attractiveness. To deal with this situation, they can put in place a range of services designed to set them apart from their competitors. However, attracting people is not enough: new populations must also be anchored in the region.
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the situation of residential mobility in Franceand to understand the issues involved. The aim is to understand how a balance between the concepts of residential attractiveness and territorial hospitality can help to integrate new residents.
Based on the design of a qualitative research methodology and the literature, this paper aims to propose a process for integrating new residents, by drawing up recommendations. These recommendations are made up of best practices to be established and actions to be implemented.
