SUMMARY

The Victoriaville region of Quebec is developing a territorial marketing strategy to boost the residential appeal of this dynamic rural area. To promote the region's quality of life, employment and settlement opportunities, the "Amène ton monde!" campaign positions local residents and businesses as influencers. The local authority (MRC d'Arthabaska) and its partners drew on their pride in belonging to make them ambassadors for their territory:

"In the summer of 2016, the organization had hired the Léger firm to conduct a survey on, among other things, the values and sense of belonging of the population residing on the territory. The results were impressive, with 96% saying they were proud to live in the Arthabaska RCM, and 86% planning to stay for the next five years".
