Student Productions Tourism

SUMMARY

Axelle GUERIN - Master 2 "Attractiveness and New Territorial Marketing" - Academic year 2021/2022

Today's tourism sector is faced with a climatic and health context that implies changing tourist needs and new political demands, forcing it to adapt and review its strategy. Tourism is certainly built by public and private players, but it is also interdependent vis-à-vis tourists, who are the ones who consume and practice it.

This dissertation introduces a creative and innovative method - Design Thinking - to the development of a strategy for tourism services and offers, in favor of more sustainable tourism. But also to question the relevance of its empathic contribution, within service creation, to act on tourist behavior.

The literature, which will enable us to understand the issues at stake in tourism, the different ways of moving towards more sustainable tourism, the needs of today's tourists, and the Design Thinking method, will be complemented by a qualitative study to obtain feedback from experience and expertise on these subjects. This will enable us to put forward a range of recommendations.
