SUMMARY
This first episode in the Galaxie Sapiens series, produced by the association France Villes et territoires Durables, offers an original, offbeat exploration of territorial transformations in the face of ecological challenges. Directed by author and urban planner Charles Altorffer, in co-production with POLAU (Pôle arts urbanisme), this project places arts and culture at the heart of reflections on the local "bifurcations" needed to respect planetary limits.
The format adopted is that of a fictitious "Lombric TV" program, which observes with curiosity the "life above" to understand how humans inhabit the Earth. Through a comic-book-inspired narrative, the document features characters such as Amélie Nité (intuitive urbanism) and Urbain l'Enchanteur, with the aim of questioning our imaginations and transforming the way we look at sustainable development.
To accompany this reflection, the project is offering an online catalog entitled "maréférence.com", which lists concrete initiatives combining art, architecture and urban planning. This panorama offers elected representatives and local players operational sources of inspiration for their own initiatives.
This first installment inaugurates an original series of seven monthly episodes soon to be available.
