SUMMARY
This CCI Paris Île-de-France report is part of a series aimed at shedding light on the economic transformations brought about by artificial intelligence (AI), following a previous report devoted to "AI and SMEs" (2024). It does not claim to provide an exhaustive inventory of AI, nor to measure its rate of appropriation by businesses, but focuses on the consequences of AI for the tourism sector and its ecosystem (mobility, accommodation, flow management, travel retail, events...).
The aim is to formulate recommendations for public authorities, operators and businesses. The central premise is clear: AI must be a lever for "augmenting" tourism, not replacing the human, in a sector where the relational experience remains central.
Keywords: chatbot, content creation, skills, cybersecurity, data, tourism data, customer experience, industry, digital frugality, contract management, flow management, AI, artificial intelligence, customer journey, digital sovereignty, standardization, tourism, booking, visitor, traveler, Paris, Île-de-France.
