SUMMARY
Author : Florence Jany-Catrice (2016)
This article reviews the proliferation of territorial well-being indicators in France and internationally. The semantics used are inherently vague (are we talking about quality of life, well-being, individual or collective well-being?), and this is reflected in the great heterogeneity of the methods used to measure them. The scope of the indicators selected depends on whether the players who develop them work in the territories or with them. In the latter case, the territory becomes a central player in the development of a shared vision of wealth.
Keywords: Well-being, indicators, measurement, pluralism, territory, wealth.
