Missions Valencia 2030: a strategy of urban and social innovation for quality of life

Benchmark Governance and Partnerships SDG, Transition and Resilience Urbanism and Placemaking

SUMMARY

Today, more than ever, society expects research and innovation to provide answers to contemporary challenges. It is against this backdrop that the City of Valencia (Spain) is proposing its "Missions València 2030"(MVLC 2030): an urban and social strategy designed to improve quality of life for residents. It is based on a long-term " quadruple helix" model of openinnovation, entirely geared to the realization of missions, and in line with European programs(H2020).
