🔍 FORUM DES ELUS | Proximité et attractivité au cœur des échanges en Aveyron
📅 On Friday, April 4, 2025, Christophe ALAUX, Director of the Chaire Attractivité et Nouveau Marketing Territorial, took part in the Forum des Élus de l'Aveyron, which focused on the theme of "Proximité et attractivité". The event brought together over a hundred elected representatives from the département to discuss future projects for Aveyron and its inhabitants.
The forum addressed a number of major issues for the region:
- improving transport infrastructures to limit the region's isolation,
- facilitate access to departmental services,
- boosting attractiveness through an ambitious policy of welcoming newcomers,
- promote the local economy, innovation and know-how,
- support the challenges of social and technological change,
- promote actions in favor of the environment, etc.
In his speech, Christophe ALAUX presented the latest results of the A&NMT Chair's IMAGETERR® 2024 study, with a focus on Aveyron:
- overall results for French territories and Aveyron in 2024,
- changes in results since 2017,
- comparison with similar regions.
He also shared the levers of residential attractiveness identified by the study, presenting:
- the criteria of attractiveness according to the audiences and living areas sought,
- the link with recent residential mobility,
- actions implemented to enhance residential attractiveness.
A benchmark of housing initiativesillustrated the inspiring and innovative practices observed in other regions.
This intervention marks a key stage in the co-construction of projects for the future of the region, and contributes to enriching reflections on the image and residential attractiveness of Aveyron.
