Place Marketing Forum 2024

The 11th edition of the Place Marketing Forum: a meeting place for players in the field of territorial attractiveness, which took place in Europe's very first collider on April 25 & 26, at the Moho in Caen.

On April 25 and 26, the Chaire Attractivité et Nouveau Marketing Territorial organized the 11th edition of the Place Marketing Forum in Caen, France. The event took place at the MoHo, a cutting-edge Collider and hub of innovation. The event brought together no fewer than 250 decision-makers-managers, elected representatives and professionals with a passion for attractiveness, to exchange views on current issues affecting territories.

The main theme of this 2024 edition was CSR and the territorial employer brand. These themes were reflected in the conferences and round tables, which focused on strategies for attracting, welcoming and retaining talent, employer branding and new management models, and regenerative tourism. The intersection of the commercial challenges of employer branding and the non-commercial challenges of territories and CSR was at the heart of the discussions: managers and elected representatives shared their best practices and presented remarkable French and international initiatives. From Canada to New Zealand, via Italy and Iceland, several representatives of international organizations took part, sharing their success stories and challenges. Various strategies were explored to integrate local talent and meet their needs, underlining the importance of strong links with the local economic fabric.

Four think tanks, organized in collaboration with the Chair's founding territories and partners, rounded out the program, with a particular focus on sustainability and anchoring, governance and partnerships in attractiveness initiatives, major events & the MICE sector, and the major challenges facing metropolitan areas.

Last but not least, participants also had the opportunity to discover major sites in Normandy, such as the Caen Memorial and the Abbaye aux Hommes.

The only one of its kind in France, the Place Marketing Forum is the benchmark event for territorial marketing professionals. Sharing best practices, presenting international and French case studies, debating initiatives, immersive discovery of the event's host territories... see you in 2025 for another edition!
