SUMMARY

Lindsay PANCARTE - Master 2 "Attractiveness and New Territorial Marketing" - Academic year 2021/2022

This dissertation aims to study the strategic evolution that contributes to the success of an event through political ambitions. It is based on a first part oriented towards the contributions of different theories mobilizing all the actors involved in the organization and success of an event (stakeholders) proposing a model for analyzing the strategic dynamics of event governance, as well as a typology of strategic configurations.

In the second part, the dissertation compares this model with a case study. The chosen case study highlights several types of strategic configuration: growth, consolidation, redeployment, safeguarding (UNESCO).
