SUMMARY
La Fabrique de la Cité is a think tank dedicated to foresight and urban innovation. Since 2020, it has been exploring the challenges facing medium-sized townsattractiveness, reindustrialization, heritage and development.
This study is the second wave of the "Les Français et les villes moyennes" barometer conducted by Kantar Public for La Fabrique de la Cité.
"In November 2020, the first edition revealed French people's desire to live close to nature, and the appeal of small and medium-sized towns. At a time when the climate crisis is becoming more concrete than ever in the eyes of the French, this second edition focuses more particularly on their perceptions and expectations in terms of combating the artificialization of land in the territories, but also of reindustrializing the country."
