SUMMARY
According to a survey carried out in February 2022 by ODOXA for the Institut de la Gestion Déléguée, the French consider local authorities to be the institutional players who have "risen to the occasion" (63%) during the health crisis. Although they say they are very satisfied with the local public services they use, 65% believe that these services will deteriorate in the future. A majority would like to see investment, both to renovate existing services (roads, "traditional" energy networks, water management) and to develop new infrastructures (renewable energies, broadband internet).
