SUMMARY

Claire COUVRET - Master 2 "Attractiveness and New Territorial Marketing" - 2018

The tourism and culture sectors are levers of development for territories in terms of both their economic weight and their capacity for innovation. In a context of multiple social, digital and economic changes, it seems essential for territories to accompany these changes and support innovation in these two key sectors. Based on a series of interviews with players involved in supporting innovation both in tourism and culture, and with innovative entrepreneurs in these same sectors, this study highlights the impact of these initiatives on attractiveness. Based on the sustainable territorial attractiveness reference framework (SOLDO & al.), it attempts to assess the impacts on the economic, social and political dimensions of territorial attractiveness. In particular, this study highlights the need to structure the value chain in this sector, which is still under construction, and underscores the essential coordinating role of territories in overcoming structural tensions between players with often differing stakes.
