SUMMARY

Launched on January 22, 2018, the Alpes French South brand is the third destination brand of the Comité Régional du Tourisme de Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur after the brands Côte d'Azur France and Provence, Unjoy the Unexpected. The aim is to federate tourism players in order to boost the visibility (especially internationally) of the associated territories: the departments of Alpes de Haute Provence (04), Hautes-Alpes (05) and Alpes-Maritimes (06 ) have been involved in the process. The brand is built around strong values (purity, respect, humility and perseverance), while its name illustrates what it is(Alps), what it offers(Pure) and where it is located(French South). Despite the health crisis, tourist numbers and economic spin-offs have increased since the brand was launched.
