SUMMARY
In 2010, the Conseil Départemental de la Sarthe decided to set up a departmental economic and tourism development agency to ensure the coherence of its territorial action. An association under the law of 1901, Sarthe Développement is the result of a merger between Sarthe Expansion and the Comité Départemental du Tourisme. Since 2014, the Département has developed a brand and an attractiveness campaign targeting Parisian project carriers:"Sarthe Me Up!".
