SUMMARY

Santa Fe, the first American city to be designated a "Creative City" by UNESCO in 2005, launched the Santa Fe Creative Tourism (SFCT) program in 2008. This program aims to enrich the tourism offering by integrating diverse cultural elements and involving the local community. Thanks to these initiatives, Santa Fe has transformed its cultural tourism model into a creative tourism model, valorizing intangible culture and intellectual assets. The results are convincing: the city has become a preferred destination for art and culture lovers, generating significant spin-offs for local artists and craftspeople.
