SUMMARY

The current pandemic has further exacerbated the difficulties faced by the most vulnerable in terms of food, housing, healthcare, transport and so on. According to the Observatoire des inégalités, while our social system remains protective, young people are among the hardest hit.
However, it is sometimes difficult for students to find their way around the range of assistance to which they are entitled, or the organizations that can help them with their procedures or in the event of a problem.

So, to make information more accessible and provide support, the city and metropolis of Saint-Étienne have developed a website and an application: SaintéMémo.fr. Saint-Étienne has thus equipped itself with a tool to combat precariousness and reinforce its image as a student-friendly metropolis.

This tool is part of a wider policy of support for students in Saint Etienne, run jointly by the city and the metropolis of Saint Etienne: 18 actions to combat student precariousness around a plan articulated around 3 axes (exceptional aid and psychological support; employment and professional integration; sports and leisure).
