The city of Yokohama has successfully converted to a Smart City by developing public-private partnerships and involving its citizens to achieve its sustainable development goals. Its ambition is now to pass on its experience and co-build a global model for smart city management through its international technical cooperation program. Yokohama has developed partnerships with the cities of Bangkok (Thailand), Batam (Indonesia), Cebu (Philippines) and Da Nang (Vietnam). Y-PORT has become a territorial marketing tool, promoting Yokohama's influence and soft power.
