SUMMARY
In Aveyron, the village of Arvieu (less than 800 souls) has co-constructed an original strategy and a participatory action plan tohalt its demographic decline and low economic attractiveness. By focusing on participatory democracy, the development of the digital economy and the collaborative economy, the area and its inhabitants have transformed their "fragilities" into strengths. Not only has this approach given greater impetus to the projects undertaken by the community and the SCOP "Laëtis", it has also attracted new residents (+4%).
