SUMMARY
Nantes Métropole has developed an application called "Nantes dans ma poche" for its residents. This multiservice application makes daily life easier for the city's 600,000 residents. The application enables users to track in real time a range of services selected in advance.
Developed with a customizable interface, it enables users to choose from 15 services (public transport timetable, swimming pool opening times, available parking spaces, good deals in shops, etc.). On the main page, users can include tabs to find out when a particular swimming pool is open or when a particular bus runs. Services can also be searched by geolocation.
Above all, this application is intended to be useful and as close as possible to the needs of the population. With this in mind, it has been developed collaboratively, with a user-centered design approach. The project is also based on a startup ecosystem, since the services integrated into the application have been developed by local startups.
