SUMMARY

Social impact assessment refers to a set of methods that seek to describe the changes resulting from an organization's actions on its stakeholders (internal and external), on the territory in which it operates and on society as a whole. Evaluation is a real challenge for organizations, as it requires time and resources. Nevertheless, it is essential for improving actions, involving partners and securing funding. This summary details the main stages in the process, and the main tools and methods that can be used, depending on the organization's objectives and resources.
