SUMMARY
Located in the heart of the Var region, the village of Correns has been committed to sustainable development and participatory democracy for over 20 years, initiatives that have helped to boost its attractiveness. Building on this experience, the elected representatives and other partners concerned by these issues have created "Lou Labo" to share their experiences, revitalize certain actions, and raise awareness among other elected representatives.
For several years now, many of the people we have met in Correns and elsewhere have been expressing a real need to discuss, exchange ideas, go deeper and act more collectively. This observation naturally led to the creation of the Lou Labo Association by elected village officials and sustainable development players from Correns, the Provence Verte region and further afield.
