SUMMARY
Shared housing projects have been around for a long time, in various forms and all over the world. However, the explosion in telecommuting is shaking up behaviors and reinforcing the hybridization of uses between workspaces and places for personal or social life.
In this context colivinga concept that was still confidential just a few years ago, is on the rise. According to a study by BNP Paribas Real Estate (2021), it represented more than 8,300 places in France in 2021, an increase of 7% (compared to 2019). This trend is in line with the sharing economy and the development of " community " lifestyles (coworking, third places, etc.) to meet the needs of increasingly nomadic audiences looking for flexibility.
