FLASH MARKTERR | Sustainable Attractiveness & Governance

Benchmark Governance and Partnerships SDG, Transition and Resilience

SUMMARY

NEW FORMAT!

In the "Flash markterr", the A&NMT Chair teams identify innovative territorial projects or projects with a positive impact on the challenges of territorial attractiveness. The aim is to provide you with a quick overview of a cross-cutting issue, with examples of inspiring practices in France and abroad. This overview takes the form of synthetic maps that you can scroll through in "carousel" mode.

To meet the challenges of the 21st century, players in the field of attractiveness (agencies, destination management organizations, convention centers, etc.) are increasingly broadening their goals beyond mere economic performance. Territorial attractiveness is tending to become a cross-functional policy that targets the well-being of residents and visitors, the ecological and energy transition of its stakeholders, resilience and territorial solidarity. This is leading agencies to clarify their raison d'être in order to give meaning to their missions, and to set themselves social and environmental objectives in order to assess their impact with a view to continuous improvement, or even regenerative action. Drawing on the PACTE law or mobilizing cooperative models, some structures are going so far as to modify their legal status to open up their governance to a wider circle of stakeholders.
