SUMMARY
The development of "flagships", also known as " brand flags " or " flag ships " by the Anglo-Saxons, contributes to the attractiveness of territories. They can take many different forms, and tend to be renewed. Mont Saint-Michel, both a historic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reoriented its tourism strategy in 2014. It is the brand flag of the West Normandy brand, offering an exceptional gateway to the region.
