SUMMARY

Faced with competition from outlying shopping areas and the Internet, Dublin Town's Retailers' Association is taking action to keep the city center attractive. Dublin Town is a not-for-profit organization that works in partnership with the city authorities and other key players to "create a welcoming and economically viable urban environment". Thanks to its actions and strategic thinking, the organization has succeeded in stemming the decline in footfall and reducing retail vacancy.
