SUMMARY
It's not so much the creation of the #MyDubai hashtag, launched by the Department of Tourism, that makes the Dubai destination promotion campaign so innovative. It's essentially the ability of this simple hashtag to bring together all the key players in the region. The city of Dubai's communications operation has become a genuine link marketing initiative.
