MICE "Best practices": sustainability, innovation & hybridization

Benchmark Events and MICE Tech, Data & Innovation Tourism
MICE durable innovation hybridation - Göteborg - Suède

SUMMARY

This publication brings together a selection of " best practices " from MICE and event industry players in the fields of innovation, event hybridization and sustainability. This international benchmark of initiatives reveals the sector's most recent practices in major metropolises, often pioneers in their field, such as Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Glasgow, Vienna, Singapore and Montreal. It's an opportunity to discover, for example, how convention centers have transformed their spaces to accommodate increasingly "phygital" events, or to explore the practices of the most exemplary destinations in terms of social and environmental responsibility. How can events have a lasting, positive impact on the areas in which they take place? How can we ensure a "legacy" for the region and its inhabitants?

This publication also presents some "useful" resources: CSR experts, ISO 20121 standards, tools for organizing more sustainable events and international rankings.
