SUMMARY
The Art Basel brand, created by three gallery owners in 1970 in Basel, enjoys an international reputation and contributes to the attractiveness of the Swiss city. Each year, Art Basel organizes an international contemporary art fair, considered by the New York Times to be the "Olympiad of world art". In 2002, Art Basel Miami was held, followed by Art Basel Hong Kong in 2013.
