SUMMARY
The Streetmix open-source tool aims to remove barriers to citizen participation in urban development projects, making them more collaborative and cooperative. It has been used in several North American cities, including Mexico City and Auckland, to consult stakeholders upstream, raise awareness of the need to share public spaces, improve their quality and encourage active mobility.
