SUMMARY
The pandemic and the massive development of teleworking have heightened the desire of some urbanites to leave the big cities. To attract these "nomadic" workers and counterbalance the rural exodus, a small German town is offering 20 digital nomads the chance to try out life in the countryside for 6 months. Selected via a call for proposals, the "pioneers" receive a range of services at a very reasonable cost, from accommodation to access to a coworking space. In return, they commit to bringing their projects, skills and networks to the people of Wittenberge.
