SUMMARY

As part of the social economy, SCICs are becoming increasingly popular, as they enable any individual or legal entity (employees, volunteers, users, public authorities, companies or associations) to work together on a project of collective interest. SCICs are a legal form that make it possible to reconcile commercial activities, democratic governance and the involvement of local players in a project with strong territorial roots.
