SUMMARY
France is lagging behind its European neighbors when it comes to recycling and sorting waste. In order to enhance the country's hospitality, sorting needs to become more widespread, and local authorities committed to this approach are improving the quality of life of their residents. However, more than 8 out of 10 French people sort (87% for light packaging, 81% for glass packaging), but only one in two sorts systematically (44% for light packaging and 57% for glass). To increase sorting behavior, Terradona, a company founded in 2013 in Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône), offers Cliiink.
