SUMMARY
The Hautes-Pyrénées tourist development agency and its Spanish counterpart, TUHUESCA, have created seven cross-border tourist circuits: the Pyrenees Road Trips. The website and "boutique" offer a range of experiences to suit all tastes, including typical accommodation, gastronomy and local producers. The aim is to raise the profile of the region, enhance the quality of life of its inhabitants and promote regional cohesion. The project, 65% financed by European funds, is to be continued within the European grouping of territorial cooperation between the Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Aragon in Spain.
