The PACTE law of May 2019, created the notion of "mission-driven company", for which a public or private organization inscribes a raison d'être, social, environmental objectives in its bylaws or ways of doing business. The coherence of the mission and the achievement of objectives are regularly assessed, both internally (mission committee) and externally (independent third-party organization). Attractiveness agencies are increasingly taking their inspiration from this logic, broadening their aims beyond economic performance alone to include the well-being of local residents and stakeholders, ecological transition and territorial solidarity. This is leading them to clarify their corporate purpose, or even completely change their legal status to open up their governance to a wide circle of stakeholders. As a result, territorial attractiveness needs to be treated as a cross-cutting policy linking the economy, tourism, culture, housing, mobility, health and education... This think tank will be illustrated by presentations from organizations that have adopted or are considering integrating these new forms of governance and attractiveness strategy.
