THINK TANK | Major events and MICE: What can local authorities do to strengthen and optimize the hosting and co-organization of world-class scientific and academic events?
French regions can play a key role in global scientific influence by combining their strengths in higher education and scientific sectors with targeted strategies. By federating their local ecosystems, they can not only attract more prestigious conferences, but also strengthen France's global position as an academic, scientific and university leader.
How can attractiveness professionals work with local stakeholders (universities, PCOs, convention bureaus, local authorities, government representatives, etc.) to optimize the position of France and its regions in hosting world-class events? What levels of support can they offer?
This think tank will present various initiatives in France and abroad, backed up by feedback from the various leaders in the organization of these events, including Brussels, Reims and Toulouse.
