SUMMARY

TT "GOVERNANCE AND PARTNERSHIPS IN ATTRACTIVENESS APPROACHES": Housing players partner with territorial attractiveness approaches to find short-, medium- or long-term solutions.

French people's aspiration to live in smaller towns (see IMAGETERR®24 results), in less urbanized environments (seeking calm, nature and security), often comes up against difficulties in finding housing. Indeed, some areas have attractive employment opportunities, but not always suitable housing to accommodate these new arrivals. One reason for this is the mismatch between the local real estate market and these new expectations. This Think Tank will present various initiatives in France that are helping to reduce the "deficit" between housing supply and demand, with presentations of innovative initiatives set up by the territories themselves or by various housing operators: specific housing to welcome new temporary residents, rehabilitation of vacant housing or offices, intergenerational housing, participative housing, real solidarity leases, mixed leases, etc.

CONFERENCE | WHAT MOTIVATES STUDENTS TO STUDY IN A PARTICULAR REGION? WHAT LEVERS DO REGIONS HAVE TO WORK ON STUDENT ATTRACTION AND HOSPITALITY? HOW CAN WE ANCHOR STUDENTS IN THE REGION FOR THE LONG TERM?

Those involved in higher education and local authorities often share the same objectives in terms of residential and economic attractiveness. Nevertheless, it is often difficult for them to co-construct joint strategies aimed at students, who are both the target audience of higher education and recruiters, but also of the territories seeking to attract them.
Whatever the territorial scale, creating conditions of desirability in terms of post-study students' professional and personal life prospects, and fostering hospitality, are becoming major challenges for territorial and higher education players. Through innovative experiences and practices in France and abroad, the aim will be to highlight innovative approaches and provide food for thought in identifying courses of action aimed at attracting, integrating and keeping, or rather bringing back, students so that they settle there more permanently.

Key words: anchoring, student attractiveness, solidarity land, housing, studies, student life.
