SUMMARY
The Espace Culturel de Chaillol (ECC) was an itinerant music festival in the Gap valley, promoting the built and natural heritage (concerts in churches, chapels, in the open air...), which fostered links with local communities and residents. Over the years, the association has expanded its missions, offering cultural and educational activities throughout the year. Today, it is a tool for cultural development and cooperation in the service of local communities, whose influence extends far beyond the borders of the Hautes-Alpes department. Its original, eco-responsible model, based on the mountain values of sobriety and solidarity, has encouraged a strong territorial anchoring while reinforcing the pride of the inhabitants, who have become the first ambassadors of the approach.
