SUMMARY
Initiated by the city of Paris with "Réinventer Paris", Appels à projets urbains innovants (AP UI) have been tried out in many French urban territories.
In 2019, the communauté de commune de Nozay (Loire-Atlantique) launched the Premier réinventer rural, a multi-site innovative development project.
Against a backdrop of demographic growth, this "rural under influence" territory, on the outskirts of the Nantes conurbation, has decided to break away from the classic housing production pattern by emphasizing the territory's identity.
