SUMMARY

Nashville is one of the most attractive cities in the American South, with a low unemployment rate, high median income and a lower cost of living than the average American city of comparable size (Atlanta, Austin, Cleveland, Tampa). As a result, U.S. cities compete fiercely for talent. Through its Work IT Nashville program, the metropolitan area is actively promoting its territory.
