SUMMARY
The city of Nantes has recently been recognized by the European Commission as " European Capital of Innovation 2019 ". This title rewards the city for the various actions it has undertaken to improve the living environment of its citizens, and for its economic development, which places innovation and citizen participation at the heart of its projects. Nantes claims to be an inclusive territory, with a model of "open and collaborative governance".
