SUMMARY

The"Lille, European Capital of Culture" event in 2004 profoundly changed the image of the city and its region. Since then, the city has capitalized on the event to make it a permanent fixture on its cultural agenda: Lille3000.

"Neither a festival nor a biennial, Lille3000 is an invitation to discover cultures through the most contemporary artists from here and abroad, while sharing its events with as many people as possible in the heart of the city."
