Light to enhance Montreal's hospitality and appeal

SUMMARY

In 2017, Montreal celebrates the 375th anniversary of its founding, and Canada celebrates 150 years of Confederation. To mark the occasion, the city, the Quebec City region and the federal government are organizing festivities designed to strengthen the pride and sense of belonging of its residents, as well as the experience of its visitors. On May 17, Montreal will be highlighted by artistic illuminations on bridges and in the Quartier des Spectacles. A veritable ecosystem has developed around lighting design, which has become a factor in the hospitality and appeal of major metropolises.
