SUMMARY
The provincial capital of Shandong, Jinan is a modern city bathed by the Yellow River, China's second longest river after the Yangtze (also known as the Blue River). Nicknamed the "City of Springs" because of its many hot springs, Jinan has many tourist and cultural attractions. Jinan is the province's political, economic and cultural center. Its natural landscapes and numerous tourist attractions make it one of China's finest historical and cultural cities. Jinan is one of the most important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. Its rich resources provide Jinan with great potential for development.
Located in the railway station district, the cultural complex comprises three separate buildings: the Fine Arts Museum, the Library and the Performing Arts Center. The complex is connected to Jinan's residential areas, as it is intended to be a facility dedicated to the city's citizens. The project is located at the crossroads of the new metro line and the Lashan River.
