SUMMARY
With 200,000 passengers a day, Hong Kong airport faces a serious waste management problem. The Airport Authority (AAHK) has set itself the goal of becoming the "greenest" airport on the planet by 2027. While developing a culture of sustainable development, AAHK has implemented a collaborative approach with its suppliers, partners and civic associations, enabling it to limit its ecological footprint and food waste.
