SUMMARY
Smart Dubai and Dubai Future Foundation are currently working together to develop a strategy for the widespread use of Blockchain across the Emirate from 2020. The Dubai Blockchain Strategy aims to provide Dubai residents and visitors with "safer, more efficient solutions and optimized urban experiences" thanks to Blockchain. The technology is expected to save more than €1 billion a year. The success of such a project at the time of hosting the World Expo is a strong signal to consolidate Dubai's reputation as a world leader in this technology.
