L'écosystème Darwin à Bordeaux

SUMMARY

Creative places (digital canteens, coworking spaces, Fab Labs, Hacklabs, Living Labs, etc.) are emerging as part of new urban logics (smart city, open data, "Do It Yourself" dynamics, etc.) but also in rural areas (La Mutinerie Village in the Paris region, La Cordée in Morez, La Fruitière Numérique in Lourmarin, etc.). These "third places", between private spaces ("first places") and work spaces ("second places"), "represent [...] anchor points for community life that encourage broader and more creative exchanges at local level, and thus help to maintain urban sociability" (Genoud & Moekli, [2010]), like the Darwin ecosystem in Bordeaux or Les Grands Voisins in Paris.

Keywords: regional planning, attractiveness, coworking, local authority, economic development, event, innovation, living lab, open data, open innovation, public-private partnership, third places.
