SUMMARY
Copenhagen's climate plan aims to make the city the first carbon-neutral capital by 2025 (Green City). The target set at the half-way stage (2015) of reducing carbon emissions by 20% was achieved in 2011. More broadly, Denmark's capital is committed to promoting innovative smart city solutions to enhance the attractiveness and hospitality of the region.
